Each winter, Baltimore Clayworks transforms into a vibrant destination for collectors, ceramic enthusiasts, and holiday shoppers seeking handmade pottery. Winterfest is our signature six‑week celebration of ceramic excellence — a unified experience that brings together a nationally recognized invitational exhibition, a bustling local ceramics market, and a festive opening night celebration.
From November 13 through December 23, our galleries and studios come alive with wheel‑thrown vessels, functional ware, and one‑of‑a‑kind ceramic gifts. Winterfest is where Baltimore’s deep love of pottery meets the national field’s most exciting voices.
The Winterfest 2026 Exhibition

At the heart of Winterfest is our invitational exhibition, which highlights the breadth, innovation, and craftsmanship shaping ceramics today. This year’s exhibition features work by 17 nationally recognized artists, representing a wide range of perspectives, regions, and approaches to functional ceramics.
