Garden Party Gala and Fundraiser: Celebrating 45 Years of Baltimore Clayworks 

Join us for the Garden Party Gala and Fundraiser! This special afternoon honors 45 years of Baltimore Clayworks’ dedication to ceramics while raising crucial funds to support its growth as a leading ceramics institution. We will be joined by Councilman Yitzy Schleifer and other distinguished guests for this memorable celebration. 

Your ticket includes a tax-deductible donation* that supports scholarships, education, residencies, kiln and studio upgrades, exhibitions, community art, and all the programs at Baltimore Clayworks. Thank you for your generosity. 

Event Details

Luncheon Highlights 12:00 pm – 2:00pm 

  • Gather in the Gallery for specialty beverages, and the Together at the Table, Again exhibition 
  • Live music 
  • Fresh, local, and nourishing lunch 
  • Special presentation celebrating  
  • Baltimore Clayworks with special recognition for Samuel Wallace, recipient of the 2025 Maryland State Arts Council Heritage Award 

Luncheon is followed by the Earthenworks Community Day from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. 

  • Land Dedication Ceremony commemorating our new Sacred Place Garden 
  • Silent Auction featuring handcrafted ceramics and exclusive art experiences 
  • Hands-in Clay activities for all ages 
  • Garden games to enjoy independently

Dining Experience 

Guests will enjoy a locally inspired meal catered by Highland Graze, signature spritzers and mocktails curated by The Wine Collective. Each table will feature garden-inspired centerpieces in handcrafted ceramic vases are available in the auction. 

What to wear?

Flowery and festive attire is encouraged. Hats are welcome. 

If you can’t make the luncheon but still want to join the festivities, please join us at 2:00 pm for the special Earthenworks Community Day which begins with a ceremonial ground-breaking and land dedication of our Sacred Place garden. You can also get your hands in some clay and make a Garden Globe from natural clay and native plant seeds. Give it as a gift to a loved one or enjoy launching your Garden Globe somewhere that needs a pop of foliage. Registration is free and required without a Garden Party ticket. 

*There are a limited number of $45 tickets which do not include a donation.
