Virtual Artist Talk: Daeun Lim – Resident Artist. Free and Open to the Public.

Short-term Resident Artist Daeun Lim will present a 20–30 minute lecture on the development of her current body of work. The lecture will be followed by a brief Q&A. The event is free and open to the public.

Daeun was born in Busan, South Korea, in 1992 and lives and works in Seoul, South Korea. She received her MFA in Ceramic Art at Ewha Woman’s University in Seoul, South Korea in 2019, and her BFA in Ceramic Art, Ewha Woman’s University in 2016.
She has completed Artist Residencies at:
- Clayarch Gimhae Museum, Gimhae, South Korea (2019)
- New Harmony Clay Project, New Harmony, IN, (2021)
- Arquetopia Ceramics Residency, Puebla, Mexico (2021).
She was awarded the Young Artist Award, Cluj Ceramic Biennale, Cluj-Napoca, Romania (2019).
