Clay Mixer: Curt Decker & the Art of Pueblo Pottery + Jo Brown Landscape Paintings

November 4 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Curt Decker’s collection of Pueblo Pottery, accrued over 30 years, showcases pieces from 12 of the 19 Pueblo tribes, including Acoma, Santa Domingo, Santa Clara, Hopi, San Ildefonso, and Tesuque, as well as several Anasazi pieces reflective of the early potters (around 1200 AD). These range from small owl figures to large vessels and many decorated and burnished works.  An accompanying short video details the process of making one of these superb artworks.
