Baltimore Clayworks Presents “Teapots XI”

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Clayworks proudly presents Teapots XI, the organization’s 11th biannual juried exhibition celebrating one of ceramics’ most iconic forms. On view from January 10 through March 7, 2026, this nationally recognized exhibition showcases functional and sculptural teapots by emerging and established ceramic artists from across the country. The exhibition will be juried by acclaimed artist, educator, and writer Pete Pinnell.

Long regarded as a benchmark of innovation, craftsmanship, and conceptual rigor, Teapots exhibitions at Baltimore Clayworks highlight the teapot as both a utilitarian object and a powerful vehicle for artistic expression. The selected works demonstrate a wide range of approaches reflecting the evolving role of functional ceramics in contemporary art.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and is free and open to the public.
