Present: Ronnie, John, Larry, Alan, Leathia, Marcy, George, Deb, Rima, Sue, Nicole, Mary Jo
Minutes approved as read.
2018 Budget: Moved and accepted unanimously, as read.
1st Quarterly Community Meeting: Sue will send email to the community and post on our website about our plans for insuring transparency and explaining the role of the Advisory Committee.
By-laws: Leathia will develop plan for incorporating artist, student and staff representation in revised By-laws.
Classes: Spring classes in Mt. Washington will be 10 weeks.
Community Arts: Programs so far will be with the following organizations:
Tuerk House (at Clayworks)
House of Ruth (on site, one class for kids, one for mothers)
My Brother’s Keeper (in Irvington)
Arts Connect for Veterans (at Clayworks)
Hussman Center
Pen-Lucy with Family League (wants class at their rec. center)
Resident Artists: Will be recruited at NCECA
Monday Closings: The office will be closed on Mondays. (Update from May 2018, the office never closed on Mondays.)
Arts Day in Annapolis: Clayworks will be represented and will leave cards for legislators.
Connecting the Board of Trustees with the Advisory Committee: Clayworks will host dinner for members to meet each other.
