Baltimore, February 13, 2014- Baltimore Clayworks is proud to host Indelible - an exhibition highlighting ceramic decorating techniques where the design becomes part of the object's skin and doesn't just rest on the surface.  Indelible features ceramic artists who employ the techniques of mishima, scraffitto or may draw through wax resist and then apply underglaze. Regardless of  the method, the result is a design carved or line imbedded into the flesh of the clay, an indelible mark of the artist.

This exhibition runs March 1- April 12, 2014. With an opening reception on Saturday, March 1 from 6 to 8PM. Admission is free.

Invited artists: Elizabeth Benotti ( NH), Mariko Brown (IL), Chandra DeBuse (MO), David Eichelberger (NC), Linda Fahey ( CA), Brett Freund (MD), Rebecca Grant (IL), Bianka Groves (MD), Glynnis Lessing (MN), Laura Jean McLaughlin (PA), Shari McWilliams (WI), Brenda Quinn (NY), Mea Rhea (MD), Yoko Sekino-Bove (PA), Kevin Snipes (IL), Mike Stumbas (MO), Shoko Teruyama (NC), Julie Wiggins (NC) and more to be announced.
