Shirts and Skins

Baltimore, Maryland – October 6- November 10, 2012-  Baltimore Clayworks is proud to host Shirts and Skins an exhibition curated by Jason Bigge Burnett. This exhibition features a group of artists who participated in the Arrowmont School for the Arts’ Surface Symposium this past January.

Shirts and Skins is the result of a rigorous surface symposium hosted by Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in January. It is an invigorating mix of exciting variety, skill and experimentation in contemporary ceramics. This exhibition is strong showing of functional and sculptural artists who shared a studio and ideas for an intense and fun week in Tennessee. This is a traveling exhibition from the Amaco-Brent Gallery.

Baltimore Clayworks is a not-for-profit ceramic art center located in the Mt. Washington neighborhood in northwest Baltimore.
