The Annual Seconds Sale

Baltimore, Maryland—Come shop, sip…and save! Baltimore Clayworks hosts a benefit sale of the best ceramics on the East Coast. Are you a savvy shopper? Bargainista? Art enthusiast? If so, this event is for YOU! Throughout the year, Baltimore Clayworks collects ceramic pieces that are irregular, out-dated, or perfectly fine and just need a good home. The Annual Seconds Sale features pottery, garden sculpture, handmade tile, and vessels from artists across the country. All proceeds benefit artistic and collaborative programming at Baltimore Clayworks.

Friday, June 5, 6:00-9:00pm- Get first picks on seconds! Cocktails, light fare, music, and a buzzing crowd racing and rooting through thousands of ceramic goods.

Saturday, June 6, 10:00am-8:00pm- Shop all day long! The Seconds Sale is open and replenished with new work as the shelves empty.
6:00pm-8:00pm-Opening reception of 3 new exhibitions: The Student Show, New Work by JoAnn Kandel, and the MetLife Foundation Creative Aging Program. This is a chance to meet the makers and see what is created in classes at both campuses. All exhibitions are located in the Gallery Building.

Sunday, June 7, 12:00-5:00pm- Major discounts on seconds, every hour on the hour! We mark the prices down--- drastically. The last half hour of the day, we offer BARGAIN BOXES. Fill a box for $10.00. Limit 2 boxes per customer.

Tickets for Friday are $25 members; $30 non-members. Saturday & Sunday are FREE!

Baltimore Clayworks is a non-profit ceramic arts center housed in two historic buildings in the Mt. Washington neighborhood of northwest Baltimore. Founded in 1980 by nine potters and ceramic sculptors, Baltimore Clayworks exists to develop, sustain, and promote an artist-centered community that provides outstanding artistic, educational and collaborative programs in the ceramic arts.
