Baltimore Clayworks presents
An Abundance of Cups
A Solo Exhibition by Deborah Bedwell

Baltimore, Maryland—Saturday, January 10, 2009—Baltimore Clayworks hosts an opening celebration of the personal porcelain cups of Deborah Bedwell. Bedwell is the Executive Director and one of the founders of Baltimore Clayworks. Bedwell has positioned the exhibition as a garden of cups – not only does the porcelain surface reflect the natural environment-- leaves, ocean ripples, berries and grasses that grow and change throughout the season – but Bedwell intends to “refresh” the exhibition with additional cups throughout the exhibition’s six weeks to create an interactive experience.

An Abundance of Cups runs from Jan. 10 to Feb. 27, 2009 with an opening reception on Saturday, January 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

On Saturday, February 7, 2009, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Deborah Bedwell hosts a workshop on creating personal cups. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members.

High resolution images are available for publication. Please contact Ann Hazels at ann.hazels@baltimoreclayworks.org or 410-578-1919 x 15.
