Baltimore Clayworks presents
California Clay: David Furman and Nancy Selvin

Baltimore, Maryland – March 25th, 2008 –Baltimore Clayworks with the exhibition California Clay: David Furman and Nancy Selvin runs from April 26th through May 24th, 2008 with an opening reception on Saturday, April 26th, from 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free.

Evocative works by Californians, David Furman and Nancy Selvin seem very dissimilar at first glance, but both artists provide insight into the human condition. Intimate observations are provided by Furman through his figurative explorations of symbolic interpersonal poses and Selvin with her domestic collections and the poetic labeling of these compositions.

In conjunction with this exhibition there will be a slide lecture by the artists, Friday April 25th, 2008 from 7-9pm. Free, please RSVP to reserve a space.

High resolution images will be available for publication; please contact Mary Cloonan to have images emailed or sent to you.
