Utilizing and combining a variety of ceramic skills, students will explore the possibilities of creating sculptural objects. Through experimentation and juxtaposition of forms they will create a new interpretation of the individual parts to the whole.
This workshop will focus on the use of the wheel and hand-building as tools for altering sculptural forms. Rediscovering the relationship among sculptural objects while gaining a fresh perspective is the practice and experimentation of the presentation. This class is open to students with basic to advanced wheel and hand-building skills.
