Yes, decorating the “naked” bisque can be a delightful process full of possibilities. However, we have all experienced glaze decision paralysis –standing at the glaze table, our lovely bisque pot in hand, gripped with anxiety and indecision as to what to do next. In this 6-week class Deborah will use this basic to intermediate level class for skill building on the potters’ wheel, developing proficiency and competence in making cups, bowl and plates. In tandem we will think about, discuss and try decorative embellishments to the wet and leather-hard surface that will later be enhanced by glaze and the fire.
