Jamaican Folk Art, Tradition, and Culture
In this special camp, students will learn about the rich folk traditions, art and vibrant culture from the island of Jamaica. Using coil techniques, students will learn a traditional pot making practice. Students will also create masks, boxes and reliefs inspired by the fascinating folk tales and rich traditions of Jamaica. Class includes all material and firing.
